Collected notes
A slot made the way a specimen sheet is made
Old herbaria have a particular calm. Each sheet holds a single plant, flattened and fixed with gummed strips, with a small handwritten label tucked in one corner saying where it was found. Nothing moves, yet everything feels looked after.
We borrowed that calm for a slot machine. The Petal Folio keeps its reels on a mounted sheet, its symbols are pressed flowers and leaves, and its biggest line is simply called the Full Folio. You play with coins that are handed to you for free, and the only thing a good spin adds to is the small pleasure of watching roses line up.
Reading a sheet
- Pick a line stake between 1 and 20 coins. Every spin plays all five lines.
- Press Spin. The reels stop one after another, left to right.
- Three or more matching symbols from the left edge of a line pay out, with the Specimen Label standing in for anything.
- Run low and the reset button refills the tray at once.
Three small promises
What stays the same on every visit
It is always free
There is no checkout anywhere on Gamingons. Coins cannot be purchased, so there is never a reason to reach for a card.
It is honestly random
Each spin draws its reel stops from your browser's cryptographic random source before the reels even begin to turn.
It lets you go
No streaks, no timers, no daily nudges. Close the tab whenever you like; the folio will be waiting, unchanged.
Pause between sheets
A slot is at its best as a light distraction. If a session runs longer than you meant it to, or the coins start to feel like they matter, that is a good moment to step outside for a while.
Gamingons is for adults 18 and over, offers social gaming only, and involves no real-money wagering of any kind.
